The renovation of this upscale residential lobby in Hell's Kitchen required the addition of modern amenities, installation of new mailboxes required by US Post Office, and preservation of the original components of the lobby that spoke to its history.  The residents of the building loved their prewar 1930s brass mailboxes and were not keen on parting with them, neither were we.  We made them into a focal art installation to honor the history of the building.
