Located in the historic Wells Fargo horse stable, the Fargo Loft design transforms an underprogrammed existing space into a 5 bdrm / 3.5 bth residence. Taking advantage of the unique features and existing structure of the building, a central gallery is introduced. Acting as the main point of circulation, above and below the mezzanine, the two programmed gallery walls become unifying elements for public and private rooms, while creating a shift in proportion that rescales the perceivable heights in these areas. The luxurious 16'-0" open spaces become the points of notice for dining, living, and entertaining.
