Based on the recommendation of my realtor, a person whose judgment I trust implicitly, we commissioned them to orchestrate the total remodel of our garden apartment, to include gathering estimates from different contractors. This brother-sister collaboration brought a rare enthusiasm to the project; they cheerfully worked with us at every step of the way and their design suggestions were always spot on. Even today as we look back at the scope of the project we are amazed that they were able to deliver what we wanted on time and under budget. Their design skills and project management were truly exceptional; being able to juggle a number of logistical problems caused by some poorly timed New York City construction efforts made the successful completion doubtful....but they pulled it off beautifully.

My wife and I purchased a 1200 ft2 condo in the CitySpire Condominium recently, and chose MO.DA to provide design consultation, coop coordination and technical drawings for a complete “down to the studs” renovation. We based our decision

on (1) an excellent introduction provided by the web site and (2) a demonstration of design expertise and artistic creativity during our initial meeting. The completed project confirms our first impressions.

 

Ms. Mroz fully understands NYC building codes, and quickly learned specific coop restrictions. She realized our goals with an ability to create and draw out the flow using artistry, maximising expansive city views, and expanded feelings for the space. An example: The shower in the master bath was originally small, and recessed. Careful measurement and multiple reviews with the coop architect resulted in an oversize shower whose marble walls and floor to ceiling glass door integrate gracefully with the balance of the room. In summary, we are very pleased with the results"
